Montana WI tornado: ‘Destructive' twister on ground near Cream and Waumandee; 'take shelter now'

This week has seen record-breaking rain across southeast Wisconsin. In Milwaukee the rainfall this week has pushed an already wet April up over 8" of rain for the month making it the wettest April on record.
A confirmed, extremely dangerous PDS-warned tornado struck near Weston, Wisconsin, moving northeast at 35 mph and threatening the Wausau area Friday afternoon. Officials warned of life-threatening conditions,
Sirens were reported near Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport on Friday amid severe weather conditions.
The tornadoes, which varied in severity, touched down in five different counties in southeastern Wisconsin, the National Weather Service said.
Juneau County's April 14 tornado near Union Center has been rated an EF3, making it the strongest tornado in the state since 2021.
According to the National Weather Service, Tornado Watch 129 is in effect until 8 p.m. CDT for dozens of Wisconsin counties and also includes parts of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa and northwest Illinois.
A tornado watch is in effect for central Wisconsin until 8 p.m. Friday night.
